About the Course
This course teaches learners the specialist art of wooden massage therapy (also known as maderotherapy) — a holistic body sculpting and relaxation treatment using natural wooden tools to stimulate circulation, reduce tension, and improve body tone.

Conducting risk assessments and maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace
Recognising contraindications and managing contra-actions
Correct use of PPE and safe handling of wooden tools and oils
Understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for massage products
Performing client consultations and tailoring treatments to individual needs
GDPR compliance and professional record-keeping
Providing aftercare advice to enhance and maintain results

Structure and functions of the muscular, lymphatic, and circulatory systems
Understanding fat distribution, fluid retention, and lymphatic flow
The effects of wooden massage tools on tissue stimulation and detoxification
Benefits of maderotherapy for cellulite reduction, circulation, and relaxation
Practical Skills:
Preparing the treatment area, tools, and products
Performing a full-body wooden massage using specialist tools
Applying correct pressure, rhythm, and movement for each area of the body
Targeting specific zones for body sculpting, drainage, or relaxation
Combining manual and wooden techniques for enhanced client results
Maintaining tool hygiene, sanitisation, and safe storage after use
Adapting treatments to suit client comfort, body shape, and sensitivity
Prerequisites:
Body Massage qualification (or equivalent) recommended.
