This course teaches learners the ancient art and science of reflexology — a therapeutic foot and hand treatment that stimulates reflex points to restore balance, promote relaxation, and support overall wellbeing.

Conducting risk assessments and maintaining a hygienic workspace

Correct use of PPE and safe handling of massage products and tools
Understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for creams and oils
Performing thorough client consultations and health assessments
GDPR compliance and secure record-keeping practices
Providing detailed aftercare advice to support relaxation and balance
Anatomy and Physiology:
Structure and functions of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the feet and hands
Understanding the reflex zones and meridian pathways
How stimulating reflex points affects organs and body systems
The physiological and emotional benefits of reflexology treatments
Practical Skills:
Preparing the client, treatment area, and products
Performing a full reflexology routine on the feet and hands
Locating and working on specific reflex points for targeted results
Using correct pressure, thumb-walking, and finger techniques
Adapting treatments to suit client conditions and comfort levels
Maintaining client relaxation, hygiene, and professionalism
Cleaning, disinfecting, and storing tools and equipment appropriately
Prerequisites:
Body Massage qualification (or equivalent) recommended.
