This course teaches learners the specialist techniques of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) massage — a gentle, rhythmic treatment designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce swelling, and promote detoxification and relaxation.

Understanding lymph nodes and drainage pathways throughout the body

Preparing the client, treatment area, and products for a professional massage
Performing gentle, rhythmic massage movements to stimulate lymph flow
Applying correct pressure, direction, and speed for effective drainage
Focusing on key areas such as the legs, arms, abdomen, and back
Adapting treatment techniques for different body types and client needs
Ensuring client comfort, modesty, and relaxation throughout the session
Cleaning, disinfecting, and storing massage tools and products correctly
Prerequisites:
Body Massage qualification (or equivalent) recommended.
